Dear Senator Curtis, 

I am a constituent from Utah. A state that in the past has represented refuge and safety from the storm. Our US Constitution was written to protect people by way of the law. To welcome those seeking safety and freedoms.

Some of President Trump's executive orders has gone against our constitution and what are nation stands for. Removing birthright citizenship is against the constitution and the law of the US. President Trump pledged an oath to uphold the law and is not doing so. Immigration raids to remove people who have sought refuge here is foreign to our US aims, " give me your tired, your poor". We are a country of immigrants, almost all of us. We need to not become a country that is selective by race, color, or culture.

We need for the health of our nation to be a part of the WHO organization that we can share ideas, warnings, protection with each other. We don't need to isolate ourselves or stop helping others.

Tariffs to cause the price of goods brought in will only increase prices. We need to find a way to work with these countries and companies in the United States to increase productivity and lower prices.

Please do your job to make laws, policies, rules, and regulations to make our nation better for us and the world instead of relying on the Executive orders Judiciary Branches. Think of working together and considering ideas that help instead of harm.
