Dear Senator Van Hollen,

Hello,

I am a constituent of yours and have specific concerns about President Trump's first week in office as an indicator of bad things to come. I have been a pediatric nurse practitioner for almost 35 years. 

My specific concerns are in pediatric health care, education and protecting our environment. I have cared for young children in hospitals for my entire career and hope that our country will continue to provide competent, relevant and culturally appropriate care for all children in our country.

I also live and attend church with many friends who are dedicated public servants working for the federal government. President Trump's executive orders signed in the first week show a complete disregard for these professionals expertise and dedication.

President Trump denies issues related to climate change. He refuses to enact measures supporting measures that would decrease our reliance on fossil fuels.

I appreciate you representing my concerns as you serve in Congress. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
