Join us for Pen Your Power, a nationwide campaign where we gather with purpose to write postcards urging members of Congress to uphold constitutional protections.
Across the country, many are feeling a deep division and an urgent need to act. Our movement offers a simple way to respond with creativity, connection, and courage.
The power of the pen has always moved nations, and today we write to move and inspire our own!

Becoming America: Honoring the Past, Creating the Future
Two hundred and fifty years after the founding of our nation, the promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness remains a continuing vision. Each generation has been called to help carry that promise forward.
Through Becoming America, Women Building Peace honors the women whose courage and sacrifice helped move our country closer to those ideals. Standing on their strength, we invite people across the nation to share their hopes for the future of our country with those elected to represent us.
You can share your hopes for the future by writing a 250th commemorative postcard to your elected representative or creating original visual art to express your vision for the country.
Women Building Peace
Women Building Peace is a cross-partisan community proactively creating pathways to peace. We provide direction and connection for peaceful advocacy opportunities nationwide. Working together, we extend the reach of our voices, inspiring hope, resilience, and cooperation. We are more than peacekeepers; we are peacebuilders.
Our legislators want to hear from us.
Your words make an impact.

Women Building Peace recently launched Quilting for the Constitution: Peace by Piece, a nationwide initiative aimed at protecting constitutional checks and balances.
Women from across the country wrote their opinions on fabric squares that were sewn into over 60 quilts representing all 50 states. We gathered in D.C. to deliver these quilts to our congressional leaders. Through this creative act of advocacy, we are building a movement to preserve constitutional rights and uphold human dignity, peace by piece.
